What is SAP and What is SAP Stands for?
SAP is a German company with its headquarters located in Walldorf. It was founded by five friends in 1972. Initially, its name was "Systemanalyse, Programmentwicklung" (System Analysis Program Development), and now its abridged as SAP (System, Application, Products). Normally people called is as a combine letter SAP but originally it is pronounce separately i.e. S-A-P. It's legal name is SAP SE, where SE stands for Societas Europaea, the European Union public corporate registration authority. Today, SAP is a multinational company with 105,000 employees worldwide and offices spanning the globe. SAP has achieved global standards of an integrated system; Enterprise resource planning with best practices and the introduction of in-memory technologies to process huge amounts of data to make it faster and more reliable.
